Chiropractic was discovered in the late 1800s and is one of the few fields that is pure healthcare. Other healthcare professions focus on a problem and how to fix it. This isn’t healthcare but sickness-care, which is very important in our society but there’s a large gap that can be filled by chiropractic.
We understand where to go when we are sick or injured but what about when we are healthy and want to remain that way?
What if we are healthy and want to be a little healthier?
What if we feel great but want more dimension to our life?
This is where chiropractic comes in. The focus of chiropractic is simple: to allow your nervous system to function at its best and allow your body to be able to express it’s natural, inborn ability to heal and to be healthy. When your body is working at its best, it is more capable of healing quickly, remaining healthy and being more adaptable to stress- meaning it’s less likely to hold onto it and store it!
Many people choose chiropractic because they have heard that it will “fix” their aches and pains. While relief from aches and pains comes quickly under chiropractic care, you now know there is a much larger picture. The body was created to be healthy, chiropractic simply allows the body to function at its absolute best without any interference from stress. And the results are typically:
- Increased energy throughout the day
- More efficient sleep throughout the night
- A stronger working immune system
- Increased performance and coordination of the body
- Mental clarity
- Greater ease & well-being
- The ability to make better, more powerful decisions in your life
- Reduced anxiety
- Increased cold resistance
- Elimination of longstanding, debilitating physical conditions
- Decreased pain – physical: muscular/headaches and emotional tension
- Shifts in creative expression, emotional vulnerability

People here receive hope and inspiration instead of prognosis or prescription. We use our heads, hearts, and hands to release the essence of life (chi, prana, life force) which is made possible through a precise chiropractic adjustment.
On your first visit you can expect the following:
Starting is a very exciting time for you! During your first visit please arrive on time. Please bring your completed paperwork to your appointment.
You will then meet privately with the doctor for up to 45 minutes. This visit includes a thorough exam of your spine and the function of your nervous system, as well as an in depth conversation about you & your health and lifestyle goals. Together, you and the doctor determine the physical, chemical, and emotional stress that is impacting your spine, body, and life through both a thorough health history and a spino-neural exam. Addition testing may be recommended. You will receive your first Chiropractic adjustment at this visit.
Expect this visit to last 30 minutes. You will watch a great video explaining Chiropractic, meet privately with the doctor to go over the information discovered in the initial spino-neural exam, to discuss your experience of the first adjustment and then together you and the doctor will co-create your care plan based on your health goals.
Third visit and beyond
This visit you will arrive and get adjusted in adjusting area. This is a powerful healing space that is maintained with the highest integrity. The office promotes a strong environment for healing as well as the opportunity to unwind and relax on the hydrotherapy water massage beds after your adjustment. Ongoing adjustments last between 10-20 minutes so please schedule your adjustment with this in mind.
The Chiropractic Adjustment
The chiropractic spinal adjustment is a means to access the nervous system in order to release life force, free stuck patterns, integrate past experiences, release stress and improve physiology. It returns to our body the potential to heal. Our doctor uses multiple techniques including hands on, traditional adjusting as well as very low-force, non osseous (or bone cracking or crunching) noise. This lower force method is preferred for certain populations, pre existing spinal conditions or those afraid… There’s no need to have fear. The work is specific, precise and extraordinarily beneficial to healing!
Why adjust the Spine?
The spine is our back, which is what is behind us: our past! The spine harbors all the past experiences we could not properly integrate. It is also where we carry everything that we do not want the world to see. It is where we store our “baggage” and our stresses. Many past patterns that no longer serves us lay stagnant, stuck there, affecting our being and physiology. When released a new physiology emerges, a new quality of life is available, a new “you” unfolds, healing is possible.
