Integrative Massage

Integrative Massage Therapy is an approach to overall health and well-being that may incorporate different styles depending on the unique needs of the client.

Juli Gramo

Hello friend! I am Juli Gramo, a trauma informed Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT),
Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-500), Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT), and Death Doula.
I received my education through The Wellness Institute of Chester County, YogaLife
Institute, and Village Deathcare. I also work as an assistant to an Advanced Rolf
practitioner and volunteer for hospice.

I acknowledge there are many different paths to healing and approach each client’s journey
with curiosity and openness. I provide an integrative approach to help clients align to their
authentic self during any point of their wellness journey. I am a skilled listener and love to
provide a safe space for clients to relax physically and mentally for optimal care. Healing is
not linear; it’s a practice and I am here to support you.

Health encompasses so much more than just physical well-being. Whether your goals are
lowering anxiety and stress, reducing pain, or improving posture and mobility, we will
discuss your needs and develop a care plan suited towards your body and lifestyle. Sessions
can build off one another in progressive series as the body adapts and changes. The aim is
to help clients move beyond a state of dis-ease and explore ways to enhance vitality.

 Your Integrative Massage May Include...

  • Swedish Massage involves long, gliding strokes in combination with kneading and friction to increase blood flow, release surface tension, and promote relaxation.

  • Deep Tissue Massage uses slow strokes with applied pressure to help release the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue and realign the muscles.

  • Trigger Point Therapy involves applying 10-30 seconds of concentrated pressure and friction to a localized tense area of the muscle, helping to release tension and improve circulation.

  • Gua Sha uses a smooth-edged tool to gently scrape areas of the body where there is stagnation to help improve blood flow and promote healing.

  • Cupping is a decompressive therapy that uses sliding or static suction with cups to move blood to an area of the body to increase energy and facilitate healing.

  • Stretching using various assisted techniques such as Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF), Pin and Stretch, or Active Isolated Stretching to improve range of motion and flexibility.

  • Yoga is a practice aimed to create a union between body, mind and spirit, as well as between the individual self and universal consciousness through conduct, attitude, movement, breath, and meditation.

“Juli is pleasant, interested in learning about what brings one to massage, and sets up a lovely atmosphere and work space. I felt very relaxed right away, upon first meeting her."
